Youth Advisory Council

The Women of Banglatown Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a group of young women from the Banglatown neighborhood committed to community engagement, empowerment, and advocacy. YAC members help shape the organization’s decisions on programming, fundraising, and overall mission. Our YAC has five committees: Executive, Storytelling & Social Media, Member-led Programming, Public Engagement & Canvassing and Fundraising. Members meet monthly to carry out special projects and also plan and host two neighborhood clean-ups and an annual women’s health event. This youth program nurtures confidence and leadership while fostering a strong support network, empowering young women to create meaningful impact in their community.
